Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation and implementation of robust security and data protection protocols within the Azure environment.
- Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for ransomware defense initiatives.
- Engage with various stakeholders and teams to ensure alignment with overarching business goals.
- Employ Azure tools and industry best practices to fortify cloud security and optimize storage solutions.
- Collaborate with technologies such as Azure Policy, Storage Accounts, Git, JIRA, Terraform (Azure RM/Terraform Provider), Azure Key Vault, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Azure cloud technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT security, specializing in data protection and ransomware defense.
- Proficient in using Terraform for managing Azure infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure security tools, policies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to work autonomously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Pay: \(80 - \)110 per hour (W2 only; Corp-to-Corp not considered).
- Full-time contract role (40 hours per week).
- Standard Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
