Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical on-call assistance for major incidents affecting the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.
- Lead the architecture, strategic design, and deployment of solutions utilizing Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.
- Optimize and maintain security measures within the Strata Cloud Manager environment.
- Develop integration frameworks between the proxy and other cybersecurity tools.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and Palo Alto Support to ensure effective communication.
- Engage in technical design discussions based on evolving business needs and use cases.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations and assess new technologies for integration.
- Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and industry advancements.
- Collaborate with teams to create and manage security services across a global landscape.
- Communicate complex security concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in network security solutions, including IDS, CSAB, and DDoS protection.
- Strong understanding of network technologies like routers, switches, firewalls, and proxies.
- Familiarity with cloud security standards and governance frameworks.
- Expertise in TCP/UDP/ICMP/IP protocols.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and security processes.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as Splunk, PKI, SSL, SSH, and HTTPS.
- Knowledge of server and endpoint OS security best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in cybersecurity engineering, focusing on cloud security and security architecture.
