Tech PM / IAM Subject Matter Expert - Remote

Job Overview

We invite applications for the role of Identity & Access Management (IAM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Technical Project Manager (Tech PM). This position is integral to our team, focusing on the strategic implementation and management of IAM initiatives. You will engage directly with clients, guiding them through the complexities of their IAM programs and ensuring successful delivery in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead IAM planning and deployment efforts, partnering with clients to customize IAM strategies that meet their operational needs.
• Oversee the complete access (re)certification processes, guaranteeing compliance with rigorous validation standards for precision and thoroughness.
• Deliver expert advice on IAM business frameworks, recognizing requirements, and executing control-driven solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with external vendors, providing monitoring and management of IAM processes and controls.
• Analyze and translate business needs, designs, and architectures into comprehensive IT security solutions across diverse technologies and user groups.
• Engineer and architect IAM platforms and services aligned with client specifications.
• Integrate IAM solutions seamlessly with current applications and business services.
• Engage with various IAM platforms and technologies, leveraging hands-on expertise across multiple systems.
  
  

Required Skills

• Over 7 years of experience in the implementation, configuration, and deployment of global IAM programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IAM protocols including LDAP, Active Directory, and Federation protocols (SAML/OIDC).
• Profound experience with web technologies such as XML, SPML/SOAP, web and application servers, and relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL).
• Strong understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, security and IT controls, and related standards.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with various management tiers and across multiple business units.
• Practical experience with IAM platforms, designing and engineering IAM frameworks, and their integration with different systems.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to engage with client executives.
• Outstanding program/project management capabilities, adept at juggling multiple priorities, optimizing resources, and driving results.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft-based IAM solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Entra ID) and familiarity with NIST security frameworks are advantageous.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
• Prior experience with global firms in consulting (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, IBM) is desirable.
