Position Overview

We are in search of a highly professional and approachable Retail Banking Officer to lead our retail banking operations within designated branches or regions. This pivotal role encompasses the responsibility for cultivating and maintaining strong loan and deposit relationships, establishing outbound sales objectives for our retail teams, and fostering customer loyalty alongside staff development initiatives. Please note, this position is in-person and not available for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Banking Officer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing retail staffing across multiple branches.
• Training staff on operational policies, sales methodologies, and exceptional customer service practices.
• Continuously evaluating and addressing facility needs.
• Supervising and directing the work of assigned personnel.
• Engaging in various retail staff functions to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Addressing complex customer inquiries and acting as a liaison for significant commercial clients.
• Performing consumer lending operations.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining banking equipment, including ATMs and coin machines.
• Driving customer acquisition and enhancing relationships through proactive engagement.
• Allocating work responsibilities and reviewing performance for quality and compliance with established policies.
  
  

Required Skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with operational policies and procedures.
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
• Capability to navigate complex problem-solving scenarios in non-standardized circumstances.
• Understanding of various business support functions, including human resources and finance.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as required.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  
  

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred experience includes one to three years in banking, with prior supervisory experience required.
