Compensation And Benefits
The starting salary for this position is $80,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan with a 7% salary contribution vested immediately, accrued vacation and sick leave, and 15 paid holidays. This role also allows for partial remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring alignment with our mission and strategic goals.
- Oversee the organization's cash management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Manage and report on fiscal matters to investors, lenders, grantors, and government agencies.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to sustain and enhance financial resources while mitigating risks.
- Supervise the accounting department, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with GAAP principles.
- Maintain effective relationships with key financial partners, including funders and government agencies.
- Coordinate activities and provide reports to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Profound understanding of accounting principles and nonprofit financial regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all practices and interactions.
- Proficiency in financial software, with advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks and Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of progressive financial leadership experience in nonprofit organizations, preferably within housing or real estate sectors.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational capabilities.
