Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Real Estate Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in contested real estate litigation in New York courts. The ideal candidate will possess strong trial experience, proficient litigation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of New York real estate law. Familiarity with areas such as Landlord-Tenant disputes, Condo Representation, Commercial and Residential Real Estate Litigation, Foreclosure, Banking Litigation, and Title issues is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all dimensions of real estate litigation, encompassing case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in various court proceedings, including motions, hearings, and trials
• Provide legal counsel to clients on real estate conflicts, rights, and strategic options
• Negotiate settlements that yield the most favorable results for clients
• Prepare for trial through evidence collection, witness depositions, and document examination
• Address disputes such as landlord-tenant issues, contractual disagreements, and property litigations
• Analyze and review real estate agreements, leases, deeds, and associated documents
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff for optimal case management
• Ensure adherence to New York real estate laws and regulations, advising clients on risk management strategies
• Advocate for clients in mediation or arbitration settings to facilitate efficient dispute resolution
• Stay updated on developments in real estate law, regulations, and relevant case law in New York

• Salary range: \(150,000 to \)225,000 (based on experience)
