Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations, evaluations, and negotiations of auto casualty claims arising from various exposures, including personal, commercial, and farm.
- Document high-quality recorded statements and discern potentially fraudulent claims effectively.
- Interpret contracts accurately and establish appropriate case reserves promptly.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with policyholders, claimants, and agents via telephone, written correspondence, and in-person meetings.
- Utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage claims efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in investigating and evaluating claims.
- Negotiation skills relevant to auto casualty claims.
- Ability to identify potential fraudulent claims.
- A Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in auto claims are preferred.
- Experience in the jurisdictions of IN, IL, and/or OH is preferred.
- Prior experience in bodily injury and/or property damage claims is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid issues is a plus.
- Experience in auto body estimating is desirable.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
