We are in search of a meticulous and highly organized Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in supporting our real estate transactions, ensuring seamless operations throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all stages of commercial real estate transactions, from initial agreements to closing.
- Conduct thorough property research, including title examinations, surveys, and lien checks.
- Draft and review legal documents, including deeds, leases, easements, and closing statements.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, such as clients, attorneys, brokers, and governmental entities.
- Organize and manage case files, ensuring that all documentation is current and complete.
- Prepare closing binders and post-closing documents.
- Track important dates, deadlines, and filing requirements.
- Conduct legal research related to zoning laws, land use regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Draft communication to clients, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
- Facilitate property inspections and environmental assessments.
- Review and analyze lease agreements, including their terms, conditions, and financial implications.
- Work with title companies and insurance providers to address title-related issues.
- Aid in the preparation of loan documents and review financing terms.
- Organize and participate in client meetings and closings as needed.
- Stay informed of changes in real estate laws and regulations, keeping team members updated.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
