Key Responsibilities
- Manage the shared department inbox, ensuring timely and precise responses to client inquiries.
- Review and process incoming 5500 data, guaranteeing its completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with 5500 Compliance Specialists to clarify requirements for subsequent steps in the filing process.
- Prepare and audit government forms, including Form 5500, relevant Schedules, and Form 5558 Extensions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to 5500 filings and audit discrepancies.
- Send acknowledgment ID emails and finalize local signatures as necessary.
- Invoice completed services and prepare filings for delivery on request.
- Maintain and update service and delivery records within the tracking system.
- Engage in team meetings and participate in ongoing training initiatives.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on colleagues' work.
- Provide guidance on compliance and regulatory requirements associated with 5500 filings and ERISA.
- Act as a subject matter expert, delivering accurate and timely information to peers, clients, and plan sponsors.
- Align your efforts with business goals, supporting the strategic direction of the team.
- Stay current on applicable service products, policies, and procedures.
- Follow all company policies regarding privacy and security.
- Be available for overtime as required.
