- Provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients on a wide range of construction law matters, including contract law, property law, planning law, and dispute resolution.
- Represent clients in court or before governmental agencies, skillfully presenting evidence to advocate for clients in construction-related disputes.
- Conduct thorough legal research to underpin legal proceedings, gather pertinent evidence, devise defense strategies, and develop persuasive arguments for case presentations.
- Prepare and draft critical legal documents including contracts, leases, and other essential legal instruments.
- Stay abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends related to construction law, delivering timely and informed guidance to clients.
- In-depth knowledge of construction law, particularly contract law and dispute resolution.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in conducting meticulous legal research and analysis.
- Expertise in drafting and preparing legal documents.
- Awareness of current industry trends and regulations pertaining to construction law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Valid license to practice law in any U.S. state.
- At least 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney.
- Prior experience in the construction sector, either in a legal capacity or a related field such as engineering, is highly desirable.
