Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and precise legal counsel to surgical facilities on various ownership and management issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse array of contracts, including partnership agreements, LLC operating agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Offer legal guidance on corporate transactions such as partnerships, joint ventures, and ownership interest repurchases.
- Oversee and collaborate with external counsel on matters including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and real estate.
- Engage in additional projects such as legal research, due diligence for investment transactions, and managing discovery requests.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice law in at least one state.
- Minimum of three to four years of legal practice experience.
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Strong ability to advise clients while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional writing skills, with an emphasis on creating clear and concise contract language.
- Experience in the healthcare sector or with healthcare entities such as surgical centers, hospitals, or physician groups is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with corporate transactions and experience working with partnerships, LLCs, and joint ventures is a plus.
