Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement audits and attest engagements.
- Facilitate audit wrap-up and review, ensuring the finalization of work papers and checklists.
- Scrutinize draft financial statements and related audit documentation.
- Present audit findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Mentor and develop other team members to enhance their auditing skills.
- Proficient understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and PCAOB Auditing Standards.
- Exceptional ability to manage all phases of an audit from initial planning to final reporting.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and training.
- Minimum of five years of public accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting is required.
- Active CPA license is mandatory.
- Must be a resident of and authorized to work in the United States.
- Industry expertise in Not-for-Profit, Employee Benefit Plans, Technology, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector is advantageous.
