Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer support while managing claims-related functions.
- Engage with customers via phone and email, assisting with medical and behavioral health care authorizations, verifying provider availability, checking claims status, and resolving eligibility concerns.
- Handle inbound calls and chat messages efficiently and professionally.
- Perform administrative duties, including reviewing and addressing eligibility discrepancies.
- Strive for first-call resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
- Conduct outbound calls to arrange appointments as requested.
- Must reside in Alaska.
- Access to a high-speed internet connection is essential (this is a remote position).
- Reliable computer equipment will be provided.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general internet usage.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service capacity.
- Preferred: Experience within the healthcare sector, particularly in health services.
- Preferred: Background in call center operations or chat support.
- Preferred: Military service experience, especially related to service delivery.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $20.79 per hour.
- Fringe Benefits: \(4.93 per hour during the contract period, totaling \)25.72 per hour.
- Upon transitioning to permanent employment, additional benefits include:
