- A valid and active NMLS license is a prerequisite.
As an Experienced Mortgage Loan Originator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding borrowers to identify the most suitable loan programs. You will facilitate the completion of loan applications and gather essential documentation, such as pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements, to initiate the loan process. You will be responsible for obtaining and analyzing credit reports while maintaining communication with various stakeholders throughout the mortgage loan procedure.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate mortgage loans through self-generated initiatives, corporate partnerships, and targeted campaigns.
- Engage with applicants to extract pertinent information that aligns with their financial objectives and identify the appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
- Collect essential client documentation and evaluate income, assets, and credit for mortgage loan applications.
- Process loan applications by conducting preliminary assessments and submitting complete applications for processing and underwriting.
- Ensure the timely collection of necessary documents for processing, underwriting, and closing throughout the loan origination phase.
- Execute daily marketing campaigns with the objective of generating a minimum of 4 loan closings per month.
- Address incoming inquiries and provide assistance to clients.
- Strive to meet both team and individual sales/production targets.
- Active NMLS License.
- 3-5 years of experience as an outside loan originator.
- High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple loans and priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting intricate financial data.
- Professional and effective interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and motivated to succeed.
