Infrastructure Business Development Manager - Remote

Overview

Join our forward-thinking team as an Infrastructure Business Development Manager, where your expertise will be instrumental in expanding our reach within the Rockwell Automation product suite across New York City and New Jersey. This role combines commercial acumen with technical insight, aimed at enhancing the market presence for vital products such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement annual growth strategies, setting clear objectives for performance and future investments in the Infrastructure business.
  • Navigate complexities, address challenges, and adapt to dynamic market conditions with agility.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of automation sales and technical professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Act as a strategic resource, translating customer requirements into tailored automation solutions while articulating the unique offerings of our Industrial/Manufacturing/Infrastructure portfolio.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities, developing a comprehensive business plan to enhance market penetration.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches and promotional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Required Skills

  • A bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience in technical or sales disciplines.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or technical roles within Industrial Automation, Construction, or Engineering fields.
  • Familiarity with the Purdue Model's various layers, including VFDs, MCCs, PLCs, and HMI/SCADA software.
  • Proven ability to influence team members and drive collective success.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with a history of effective market development and program execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical and commercial skills relevant to the infrastructure sector.
  • History of successful sales leadership and proficiency in understanding market dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, crucial for stakeholder engagement.
