This role also includes evaluating risk exposures, negotiating quotes, and providing clear explanations of coverage and pricing to brokers. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with brokers to ensure effective service and strategic market placement for commercial accounts, enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leverage your commercial insurance expertise to review broker submissions, evaluating exposures and necessary coverage.
- Utilize independent judgment to assess risk exposures and strategically optimize placements with leading carriers.
- Identify suitable insurance markets for quote requests, manage the quote acquisition process, and ensure alignment with broker and market agreements.
- Analyze and negotiate favorable terms for coverage and pricing, clearly communicating details to brokers for informed decisions.
- Drive lead generation through outbound efforts and evaluate online and phone quote activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Act as a vital intermediary between insurance markets and retail brokers, addressing their unique needs.
- Maintain thorough account management by ensuring all required documentation is managed effectively.
- Cultivate positive relationships with existing agents and colleagues.
- Stay informed of industry developments and sales strategies through active participation in workshops and seminars.
- Execute additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
- Proven track record in account management and marketing.
- Current Property & Casualty (P&C) License is essential.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in sales, customer service, and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and operate with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight trips.
