Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the identification, communication, measurement, and management of organization-wide risks.
- Lead the procurement of insurance and develop comprehensive risk management and compliance policies/procedures.
- Cultivate relationships with third-party service providers, including brokers and underwriters.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable insurance policies such as Property, Casualty, and Cyber-risk.
- Facilitate initial placements and renewals of insurance coverage.
- Coordinate and manage the data collection for insurance policy renewals and claims.
- Investigate and address property and liability claims in accordance with the directives from the Managing Director.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper incident reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management is required.
- A Master's degree in Risk Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and advising on business insurance and risk management.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in business insurance functions.
