Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm)

Salary: \(59,000 to \)93,613 per year

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Insurance Risk Manager to spearhead the strategic planning and administration of our organization's insurance requirements. Reporting to the Managing Director of Quality, Risk, and Compliance, you will be responsible for securing optimal coverage, managing costs effectively, and maximizing claim settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the identification, communication, measurement, and management of organization-wide risks.
• Lead the procurement of insurance and develop comprehensive risk management and compliance policies/procedures.
• Cultivate relationships with third-party service providers, including brokers and underwriters.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable insurance policies such as Property, Casualty, and Cyber-risk.
• Facilitate initial placements and renewals of insurance coverage.
• Coordinate and manage the data collection for insurance policy renewals and claims.
• Investigate and address property and liability claims in accordance with the directives from the Managing Director.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper incident reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly detail-oriented and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management is required.
• A Master's degree in Risk Management is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and advising on business insurance and risk management.
• Extensive knowledge of best practices in business insurance functions.
