This role presents an exceptional opportunity for paralegals with expertise in government incentive programs or governmental relations to elevate their career within a groundbreaking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments to assist in the preparation and submission of applications or renewals for government incentive programs, tax incentives, grants, subsidies, and abatements.
- Engage with relevant teams, such as accounting, human resources, legal, and supply chain, to compile necessary information for applications.
- Liaise with internal teams, external counsel, vendors, and government representatives regarding application requirements, reporting obligations, and program specifics.
- Establish, implement, and maintain compliance protocols to ensure adherence to incentive program reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to secure necessary data needed for compliance reporting on government incentive programs.
- Support other projects as required.
- Excellent interpersonal and advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in collaborating across departments to facilitate the completion of government incentive applications and renewals.
- Strong project management skills with a commitment to meticulousness and professional excellence under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs related to incentive requirements.
