Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the intake, review, drafting, and negotiation of various real estate contracts, including leases and purchase agreements.
- Oversee the due diligence process related to real estate transactions and manage document review for capital markets deals.
- Facilitate closings by preparing and reviewing necessary closing documents and supervising post-closing activities.
- Maintain an organized deal pipeline database and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Draft and assess confidentiality agreements, broker agreements, letters of intent, and other relevant real estate documents.
- Support compliance requirements for loan documentation, joint venture agreements, and corporate entity reviews.
- Perform legal research and analyses of regulations to bolster decision-making.
- Collaborate on various matters, including corporate transactions and data privacy.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Ironclad or similar).
- Exceptional drafting and analytical abilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships across teams.
- Proactive and self-motivated with creative problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate legal settings, with a focus on complex transactional work and commercial contracts preferred.
- Strong ethical standards and professionalism, coupled with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
