Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess their legal needs and provide expert guidance.
- Draft essential legal documents, administer depositions, and oversee discovery processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare motions.
- Represent clients in court, argue motions, and participate in trials.
- Interview witnesses and formulate agreements.
- Negotiate settlements and partake in mediations and arbitrations.
- Oversee a caseload of probate litigation matters.
- Active California law license.
- Strong academic background with excellent credentials.
- Highly developed work ethic and dependability.
- Exceptional client service skills with a focus on timely communication.
- Interest in courtroom appearances, motion arguments, and hearings.
- Between 6 to 16 years of relevant legal practice as a licensed attorney.
- A minimum of 5 years of specialization in probate, wills, trusts, and estate litigation.
- Detail-oriented with proficient drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to convey complex legal concepts in an understandable manner to clients without legal backgrounds.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Capable of managing tasks independently while adhering to deadlines.
- Prior courtroom experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Code of Civil Procedure is advantageous.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven expertise in probate, wills, trusts, and estate litigation.
