Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Execution: Spearhead the formulation and implementation of the product roadmap for mortgage servicing solutions, encompassing loan servicing platforms and customer service tools.
- Market & Industry Analysis: Remain abreast of trends in mortgage servicing, housing market fluctuations, and regulatory developments. Conduct thorough research to pinpoint opportunities for product innovation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, as well as clients, to collect requirements, define product features, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with engineering teams to create and deliver high-quality, scalable mortgage servicing solutions, including tools for risk management and data analytics.
- Project & Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery while upholding quality standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization: Assess product performance through key metrics and data-driven insights to enhance effectiveness, user satisfaction, and adoption rates.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products adhere to industry standards and regulatory mandates.
- Client Engagement & Product Adoption: Drive strategies for client adoption, gather feedback, and continuously refine products to align with customer needs.
- Mortgage Servicing Expertise: Leverage your understanding of mortgage servicing operations to enhance portfolio management and drive cost efficiencies for clients.
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of software development, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies.
- Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills for relaying product updates and progress to stakeholders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage finance, servicing operations, and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years in product management, including at least 3 years focusing on mortgage capital markets, servicing, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Profound understanding of mortgage finance, servicing operations, and familiarity with Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSRs) is highly desirable.
