Key Responsibilities
- Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Draft, analyze, and negotiate purchase agreements, lease contracts, loan documents, and related closing paperwork.
- Provide expert advice on real estate development, zoning regulations, property management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Represent clients in real estate disputes, addressing contract issues, title complications, landlord-tenant conflicts, and foreclosures.
- Collaborate with developers, lenders, and investors to devise deal structures and financing strategies.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, playing an integral role in the firm’s overall growth and success.
- Engage in business development initiatives to strengthen client relationships and expand the firm’s real estate practice.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactional work and/or litigation.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and drafting for real estate agreements.
- Demonstrated experience in managing closings, conducting title reviews, and handling financing transactions.
- Litigation experience in real estate disputes is an asset but not mandatory.
- Active membership in the Florida Bar is essential.
