Key Responsibilities
- Process Hawaii regular system and Land Court deeds efficiently, along with other essential filings using e-filing software.
- Offer expert advice to clients regarding real estate closing matters, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
- Draft, review, and amend various real estate documents, such as commercial leases and purchase agreements.
- Conduct title searches and, if preferred, prepare preliminary title reports.
- Organize and maintain client files within our practice management system to ensure easy access and reference.
- Establish and maintain prompt and professional communication with clients and third parties to cultivate robust relationships.
- Proficient in e-filing software and possess a comprehensive understanding of Hawaii real estate procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate transactions and closing processes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and client service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
- Experience with title searches and preliminary title reports is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in real estate law or a related field is strongly preferred.
- A paralegal certification or comparable experience is required; former escrow officers without prior paralegal experience will also be taken into consideration.
