Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services.
- Provide essential counseling and support to students and their families, including crisis intervention when necessary.
- Develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and school staff to ensure the success of each student.
- Maintain precise records and documentation regarding student progress and services rendered.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Experience in providing virtual counseling and support is preferred.
- A Master’s degree in psychology, school psychology, or a related discipline.
- A valid license as a School Psychologist in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of one year of experience in the role of a School Psychologist.
