Compensation And Benefits
The projected salary range for this role is between \(110,000 and \)150,000, with the potential for a higher title and compensation for candidates with extensive technical and business development experience. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes base salary, discretionary bonus plans, and a robust benefits portfolio comprising healthcare options, company-paid life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with immediate match and vesting, flexible spending accounts, and employee assistance programs. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage projects, ensuring adherence to milestones, budgetary constraints, deadlines, regulatory standards, and other critical performance metrics.
- Direct all phases of project life cycles, including planning, scope identification, budgeting, coordination, execution, and final delivery.
- Actively engage in Account Management and Business Development activities to cultivate client relationships and secure new work.
- Supervise project teams and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct technical reviews of projects within the region to ensure high-quality output.
- Scrutinize proposals and technical assessment reports, verifying data integrity and accuracy in summary tables and figures.
- Manage resource allocation effectively to meet utilization targets across the region.
- Coordinate multifaceted project functions to guarantee satisfactory project delivery.
- Review Health and Safety Plans and Job Safety Analyses for project sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related environmental discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting services, including client-facing roles in due diligence, remediation, environmental compliance, and industrial hygiene.
- Relevant licensure to operate as a senior lead and project reviewer (PG, PE, CIH, etc.), with ‘Certified Asbestos Consultant’ certification from Cal/OSHA seen as an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead diverse consulting teams both from a technical perspective and in operational management.
- A successful history of managing extensive environmental projects, including planning, assessment, remediation, and site monitoring.
- Demonstrable success in Business Development and client engagement.
- Willingness to travel regionally, with some national travel for client engagements and events; a valid driver’s license is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Relevant safety certifications in accordance with OSHA regulations (OSHA 10⁄30, HAZWOPER).
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Strong technical report writing proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a related environmental field.
- Over 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting sector, focusing on remediation and compliance.
- Appropriate licensure for senior lead roles.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in multi-faceted projects.
- Proven business development expertise.
