Job Overview

In this pivotal role, you will enhance our Investments team by delivering essential analytical support across a variety of asset sectors and portfolios. Collaborating closely with portfolio managers, you will conduct in-depth investment analysis, generate performance reports, and engage in research initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to expand your acumen in the financial sector while directly impacting our investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Employ analytical data applications and models across diverse sectors, including credit, structured finance, real estate, and alternative investments.
• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of our data landscape, collaborating with sector leaders to propose data-driven solutions to both day-to-day operations and strategic challenges.
• Engage in research projects concentrating on asset sectors and portfolio management.
• Undertake special projects as assigned and perform related tasks.
• Enhance data extraction and reporting processes through tools such as macros/VBA/SQL.
• Assist in identifying and rectifying data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity throughout the portfolio.
• Collaborate with sector heads to oversee third-party investment managers and data providers.
• Prepare presentations and reports for the executive team.
  
  

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of pertinent experience in fixed income.
• Robust expertise in financial or quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Blackrock Aladdin and Power BI is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication abilities (both written and verbal), with a talent for articulating complex information succinctly.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• A proactive, inquisitive mindset, eager to embrace new challenges.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Awareness and interest in contemporary events and trends affecting the industry and markets.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or finance is preferred.

• Competitive salary ranging from \(90,000 to \)120,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives.
