Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and maintenance of impactful financial analyses and analytics through key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, enhancing senior management decision-making.
- Develop comprehensive reporting and analytical deliverables to provide clarity on how operational activities influence investment performance, particularly focusing on risks and opportunities for optimizing expenditures.
- Oversee capital planning initiatives in collaboration with the Facilities Asset Management Executive Leadership Team.
- Prepare essential reporting packages for senior management, including budget approvals, cash flow forecasting, and performance insights on capital initiatives.
- Champion technological advancements within asset management by leveraging proactive and preventive analytics to drive value creation.
- Assist in the monthly accounting close process while partnering with the accounting team to meet public reporting and audit obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, internal auditing, tax, and legal, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in various ad hoc projects as required, bringing a unique perspective and expertise to the team.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, asset management, or project management.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in technical tools, including Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- A proactive, energetic, organized, and motivated approach to work, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to implementing industry best practices.
- Prior experience in a public company setting is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to our headquarters in Glendale, CA.
