We are seeking a dedicated Staff Attorney to join our dynamic team, operating in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating the company’s legal, governance, risk management, and compliance efforts, all of which are integral to our strategic objectives and growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to sales, vendors, real estate, and employment, ensuring the company's legal interests are well-protected while fostering growth.
- Oversee relationships with external legal counsel and manage associated expenditures.
- Prepare and convey updates regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, and negotiations.
- Maintain the contracts database, cataloging and summarizing key contract terms to optimize legal and commercial leverage.
- Oversee the management of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, while identifying potential protection strategies.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with existing legislation and prepare for emerging issues.
- Serve as a consultative partner to educate teams on legal, compliance, and security matters.
- Chair the internal Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) Committee.
- Represent the company on legal and compliance-related discussions with clients as required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in a state bar association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Proficiency in navigating complex legal frameworks and providing clear, actionable guidance.
- High degree of discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Expected salary range: \(120,000 - \)175,000 annually, plus bonus compensation based on experience.
