Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective members, offering assistance both in person and via phone.
- Assess member needs and recommend suitable financial products and services.
- Identify and cultivate sales opportunities through open-ended inquiries tailored to member needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to uncover potential for additional services.
- Educate members on the usage of our online and mobile banking platforms.
- Resolve member concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare loan documentation for review and disbursement.
- Stay current on operations, security protocols, and pertinent regulations.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on financial documents.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, managing and balancing your cash drawer daily.
- Assist with daily branch operations, including balancing and closing procedures.
- Contribute to training and mentoring new team members.
- Provide notary services if certified, adhering to all state laws and regulations.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a knack for building positive relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services.
- Proficient in online and mobile banking applications.
- Strong communication skills, with bilingual (Spanish) capabilities preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of demonstrated outstanding customer service experience; previous teller experience is advantageous.
- Notary Public certification is a plus.
