Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal and state estate, gift, and trust tax returns, including Forms 706, 709, and 1041.
- Deliver expert tax planning and consulting services tailored to high-net-worth individuals.
- Collaborate closely with Private Client Services to provide cohesive solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax legislation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage in business development efforts to uncover new client opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high-quality service standards are upheld.
- Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing Forms 706, 709, and 1041.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax regulations pertaining to trusts, estates, and gifts.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on relationship building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Active CPA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust, estate, and gift tax planning and compliance.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients and private client services is advantageous.
