Job Overview
In the role of X-Ray Technologist, you will be instrumental in delivering top-notch imaging services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing X-ray, fluoroscopy, and DEXA scans, assisting radiologists with specialized procedures, and ensuring the comfort and safety of each patient. This full-time position adheres to a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct X-ray, fluoroscopy, and DEXA imaging in compliance with ACR standards.
- Assist patients in achieving optimal positioning for imaging.
- Support radiologists during specialized procedures.
- Prepare sterile trays as necessary.
- Review orders for precautions and contraindications prior to examinations.
- Provide compassionate and professional care to patients.
- Efficiently manage patient flow while adhering to quality and safety protocols.
- Effectively de-escalate conflicts and escalate issues to supervisors when needed.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Valid Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license (ARRT).
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- A professional demeanor combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- One year of experience in X-ray preferred; however, we welcome applications from motivated candidates eager to learn.
- Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus!
- Competitive salary range: \(34.72 - \)52.95 per hour (commensurate with experience).
