Key Responsibilities
- Review and revise a variety of legal documents, including Accounting Petitions and Conservatorship Petitions.
- Oversee the administration of Trusts, Probate cases, and Conservatorship matters from initiation to resolution.
- Address Probate Notes and Tentative Rulings, providing necessary supplements as required.
- Collaborate closely with the Owner and other Senior Associate Attorneys to ensure effective case management.
- Delegate responsibilities to paralegals, legal assistants, and law clerks while overseeing their work.
- Conduct initial consultations and meetings with clients to assess their needs.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular and proactive communication.
- Represent clients in hearings and legal proceedings.
- Work in conjunction with the billing department to generate and dispatch invoices.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Trust Administration, Conservatorships, or Probate.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
- Proven capability to manage legal matters and client relationships autonomously after an orientation and supervision phase.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving outstanding results for clients.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, timekeeping, and case management software, showcasing strong computer skills.
- Emotional intelligence and empathy towards clients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in an office setting, as this role is not remote.
