This hybrid role requires in-office attendance 3 days a week, and we prioritize work-life balance. Positions are available in San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. Key Responsibilities
As a Property Adjuster Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing a diverse caseload of intricate property claims, ensuring each claim is thoroughly investigated, assessed, and resolved in line with established protocols.
- Collaborating with vendors, internal stakeholders, and regulatory entities to ensure claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Conducting comprehensive research to substantiate claim damages while identifying potential subrogation opportunities where applicable.
- Analyzing complex policy terms to evaluate and determine coverage, including managing legal liabilities as required.
- Negotiating equitable settlements within your authority and engaging with management for decisions beyond your limits.
- Keeping meticulous and current documentation throughout the claims process to ensure all records are complete and precise.
- Utilizing advanced estimating technologies and virtual inspection tools, particularly for complex condominium claims.
- Being available for on-call responses during catastrophic events (CAT), including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Working independently with minimal supervision to address complex challenges, while also contributing as a resource to junior colleagues.
- Traveling as needed for in-person inspections, training sessions, or claim resolutions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in property claims adjusting, focusing on complex losses, including structural damages and estimate preparation.
- Proficiency in utilizing estimating tools such as Xactimate or similar applications.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction and property claims contracts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, investigative, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Excellent analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time for claims-related activities.
- Successful completion of an insurance adjuster license within 90 days of hire.
You may distinguish yourself if you have:
- Military experience or are a spouse/domestic partner of a military member.
- Familiarity with desk adjusting property claims using virtual tools such as ClaimsXperience, Hover, or Eagleview.
- Experience managing complex condominium, litigation, and liability claims.
- Industry designations such as AINS, CPCU, AIC, or SCLA, or are actively pursuing these credentials.
- An active Adjuster License and/or Xactimate certification.
- A bachelor's degree or experience in a call center environment.

- Salary Range: \(67,750.00 - \)121,950.00 (dependent on experience and location).
