Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of medical-only workers’ compensation claims from initiation to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, determine applicable coverage, and articulate findings clearly to all stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers to ensure timely access to necessary medical care.
- Authorize medical expenses, validate reserves, and implement treatment protocols.
- Identify and address potential fraud or subrogation cases, referring them as appropriate.
- Utilize company resources prudently to manage costs effectively.
- Maintain an organized inventory of claims while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all involved parties.
- Foster teamwork within a multifunctional work environment.
- Commit to ongoing learning and staying informed about workers’ compensation regulations and best practices.
- An Associate's degree or a minimum of two years’ experience in a business setting, preferably within insurance or a medical office environment.
- Prior experience in handling casualty, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), or workers’ compensation claims is advantageous.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and customer service capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to research, assess, and interpret information accurately.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Competent conflict resolution skills.
- Fundamental math skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- An Associate's degree or two years of relevant business experience is essential.
- Experience in casualty, PIP, or workers’ compensation claims is a beneficial asset.

- Competitive Pay: \(25.58 - \)35.81 per hour
