We invite you to join our dedicated team as a Tobacco Education Project Manager within our Prevention Education program. This remote role will have you overseeing the impactful Second Chance 2.0 project, a dynamic web-based educational initiative specifically designed for middle and high school students. This program addresses the health implications of tobacco and nicotine use, including e-cigarettes, and offers a constructive alternative to suspension. Funded by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, this role will also involve enhancing both the infrastructure and content of the program, including the creation of a Spanish-language version.

Compensation And Benefits
The compensation for this position is reflective of various factors, including skills and experience. The anticipated hiring range is between \(26 and \)30 per hour, based on qualifications.
Work availability during standard business hours (8 AM - 5 PM MST) is necessary, totaling 20 hours per week.
No travel is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for all team members involved with the Second Chance 2.0 project.
- Employ ASANA project management software to allocate tasks, monitor project progress, and ensure clear communication of expectations.
- Coordinate and lead project meetings with partners to assess deliverable progress, optimize budget expenditure, and address any issues that arise.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to guarantee the quality of project outcomes.
- Oversee deliverable fulfillment, track team member time management, and monitor project expenses, making adjustments as needed for successful completion.
- Review monthly invoices to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure compliance with Colorado’s accessibility and security standards.
- Deliver regular updates on progress to the STEPP Lead.
- Participate in organizational staff meetings as required.
- Assist in the development and promotion of tobacco/nicotine-free resources for schools, including the Second Chance 2.0 Facilitator Guide and Implementation Training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to maintain a broad perspective while focusing on necessary details.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health or education) accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
- Proven project management experience, particularly in youth tobacco prevention or education, public health, and/or school systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; familiarity with ASANA is a benefit.
- Experience in online learning and substance use prevention programming is advantageous.
