We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Manager specializing in hospitality projects to join our team in Denver, NY. If you have a passion for overseeing hotel renovations and new builds, this role is for you! You will play a key role in managing various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative team environment for assigned projects.
Manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
Efficiently allocate time across multiple projects.
Assist in assembling project teams.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors, as well as interact with client project inspectors and local officials.
Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of ownership.
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
Work remotely from a home office setup.
Qualifications
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in construction quality.
Proven ability to think quickly and act decisively.
Preferably hold a BA/BS degree in design, construction, engineering, or relevant experience in hospitality construction management.
Minimum of three years' experience in managing hospitality construction projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam.
Familiarity with construction management software.
Experience in budget creation and cost analysis.
Ability to develop and adjust project schedules.
Strong leadership skills, adept at negotiation, and a collaborative team player.
Effective communicator with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
