Key Responsibilities
In your role as an SBA Loan Auditor, you will be tasked with:
- Conducting thorough reviews of loan files to ascertain adherence to SBA 7(a) standards.
- Leveraging proprietary software to articulate findings from loan file assessments.
- Preparing detailed internal reports to aid the SBA in their Risk Based Review processes.
- Executing additional administrative duties as directed by the Senior Financial Analyst.
To succeed in this position, you should possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with SBA 7(a) loan programs, including Standard, Small, and Express.
- At least 5 years in commercial loan activities, adhering to standard due diligence practices.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional written communication skills.
- The capability to work autonomously while effectively engaging with a remote team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree is advantageous; however, a combination of at least 10 years of relevant SBA 7(a) loan experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in collections or special asset management related to SBA 7(a) loans.
- A comprehensive understanding of SBA 7(a) Loan Program requirements, including the loan application process, eligibility criteria, underwriting procedures, and closing documentation.
