Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installer to join our team. The Installer will be responsible for the accurate and efficient installation of products at customer locations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles for delivery and installation purposes. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, freight handling, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of products at customer sites according to specifications and company standards.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles including box trucks and flatbeds for transportation of materials.
- Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment to load and unload products as needed.
- Ensure all installations are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding installation processes, timelines, and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and any necessary documentation.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installation equipment and vehicles to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize routes for efficient delivery and installation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic installation issues.
- Experience with freight handling and shuttle driving is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or flatbeds.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with installations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
