Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately process electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions in our system, following established guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, managing voicemails, outbound calls, and inbound inquiries to ensure professional interactions.
- Address and resolve issues raised by various departments, showcasing your analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adhere to company policies and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations in performing all tasks.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar capacity.
- Valid PTCB or NHA certification, or willingness to obtain certification within 120 days of employment.
- Strong communication abilities, particularly in professional phone etiquette.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proficient technical skills with the capability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Competency in performing basic pharmacy calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and a willingness to pursue necessary certification if not certified prior to hire.
