Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions with precision.
- Manage professional communications with healthcare providers, addressing calls and voicemails effectively.
- Resolve issues promptly in collaboration with pharmacists, technicians, and team members.
- Comply with all safety and regulatory standards and policies.
- Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar capacity.
- Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) or a commitment to obtain certification within 120 days of employment.
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a commitment to accuracy.
- Technical proficiency with the ability to adapt to new software swiftly.
- Capability to perform basic pharmacy calculations competently.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current and valid Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) is essential.
