Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret transactions within the ERP system to assess their effect on overall financial performance.
- Supervise the creation and maintenance of Item Masters, Bills of Materials (B.O.M.), and Production Routings.
- Assess Work In Progress to ensure precise allocation of labor and materials, including proactive variance analysis related to material usage and purchase pricing.
- Execute month-end closing procedures and perform reconciliations of General Ledger accounts.
- Monitor capital expenditures and assist with monthly depreciation calculations.
- Oversee inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, standard cost adjustments, discrepancy resolution, and the annual physical inventory process.
- Generate and present financial reports, cost analysis, and additional management reports.
- Ensure data accuracy within the ERP system, providing support for all departments as needed.
- Collaborate with teams in Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to gather data, analyze cost drivers, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Provide mentorship and support to the finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems and their cost accounting functionalities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, or analogous analytics platforms (preferred).
- Capability to read and write M or SQL code (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to precision.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
- Availability for overtime during month-end closures.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related area.
- 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, particularly in a manufacturing context.
- Experience with ERP systems and analytical tools is advantageous.

- Competitive Salary: \(90,000 - \)105,000 annually.
