Key Responsibilities
- Deliver family therapy in a home-based outreach setting.
- Conduct thorough, home-based assessments including the CANS, focusing on the needs, strengths, culture, and history of the youth and family.
- Collaboratively develop treatment plan goals in partnership with family members and team colleagues.
- Collaborate with the IHT Therapeutic Training and Support worker to execute treatment strategies.
- Provide safety planning, crisis management, and necessary interventions.
- Offer support to families and youth in various community settings such as schools and clinics.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with all members of the team.
- Provide after-hours on-call support, rotating as needed.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Master's degree in a human services field (enabling diagnosis).
- Eligibility or independent licensure.
- MA CANS certification (mandatory prior to start date).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating clarity and respect.
- Proficiency in engaging youth and families in therapy and assessing/diagnosing using DSM-5 criteria.
- Commitment to working with diverse populations and understanding cultural dynamics.
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable transportation and an approved CORI check are essential.
- A Master's degree in a human services related field is required.
