Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.
- Proactively monitor network performance and swiftly address connectivity issues to guarantee a seamless user experience.
- Implement and uphold stringent network security protocols to safeguard our critical data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and procedures, preparing performance reports for stakeholder updates.
- Mentor and develop junior IT staff, promoting professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with organizational objectives and manage vendor relationships for network solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or a comparable position.
- CCNA, CCNP certifications or equivalent are desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP) and hands-on experience with enterprise-grade routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark) and solid wireless network management skills.
- Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and VPN technology.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while mentoring team members.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in network administration.
- Proven expertise in managing sophisticated network infrastructures.
