Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will act as an advocate for children with ASD by:
- Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate their individual needs and crafting personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Designing and executing evidence-based ABA interventions aimed at enhancing social, communication, academic, and daily living skills.
- Continuously monitoring client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while analyzing data to ensure effective interventions.
- Providing education and support to parents and caregivers, equipping them to apply behavioral strategies at home.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to promote a holistic treatment approach.
- Supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery through training and feedback.
- Completing daily clinical documentation within the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and contributing to the development of training materials.
- Maintaining your professional knowledge through ongoing education in behaviorally based interventions and techniques.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Significant experience in implementing ABA programming and behavioral intervention.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical information, writing detailed materials, and communicating effectively.
- Familiarity with age-appropriate activities, CPT codes, regulatory knowledge, and research-based treatment modalities.
- Reliable transportation for travel as needed and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, bending, and squatting.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in a related discipline.
- Proven experience in implementing ABA programming.
