Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with the claims departments of insureds and third-party administrators.
- Lead and guide the claims handling process to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Conduct comprehensive claim reviews to pinpoint trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Assess the claims supervision capabilities of prospective insureds.
- Generate precise case evaluations for loss control initiatives.
- Ensure adequate reserves for excess losses.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
- Travel as necessary for mediations, client engagements, and professional seminars.
- Proven experience managing intricate, litigated transportation claims or related commercial liability claims, particularly in commercial auto.
- Familiarity with collaborating with third-party administrators or claims departments.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation competencies.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of injury evaluation practices.
- Willingness to travel as required.
