Remote Clinical Therapist - Home-Based

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of family needs through interviews and established assessment tools, taking into account social history and available community resources.
• Create and execute tailored treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and objectives.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group counseling sessions in clients’ homes.
• Offer case management support, connecting families to essential community resources and services.
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders involved in the family’s care to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews to foster integrated and holistic care.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation of all services provided, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Prepare reports as needed to enhance communication and collaboration among care providers.
• Engage in crisis intervention as necessary, offering vital support during critical situations.
• Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment for families.

Required Skills

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Proven experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy to diverse populations.
• Familiarity with working with youth and families, especially those involved in the juvenile justice system, is advantageous.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance for home visits.
• Current licensure/registration within your designated area.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
