Key Responsibilities
- Execute tests on sophisticated systems and subsystems at various locations, including remote sites.
- Collaborate within an Agile framework to ensure project compliance with Navy standards.
- Assess software performance to pinpoint enhancements and optimize functionality.
- Diagnose technical issues and work in tandem with engineers to develop effective solutions.
- Foster effective communication with team members across all levels to guarantee project success.
- Prior experience as a US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician is mandatory.
- Proficiency with the AN/BYG-1 combat control system or Contact Management Fire Control Display (for Sonar Technicians).
- Demonstrable experience in testing within a Department of Defense production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices is advantageous.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
- A dedicated former US Navy Submarine Fire Control Technician with a commitment to excellence and teamwork.
- Experience in the SWFTS submarine community is considered a plus.
