Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate employee health profiles and work performance to identify risk factors and devise tailored improvement strategies.
- Provide coaching and guidance on best practices in body mechanics and injury prevention methods.
- Maintain comprehensive records of employee interactions and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines related to first aid documentation.
- Deliver wellness education to empower employees in minimizing injury risks.
- Assist in the management of clinic operations and medical surveillance testing.
- Create and conduct health education programs for employees.
- Strong analytical skills to assess health risks and develop effective prevention strategies.
- Excellent communication abilities to coach and educate employees.
- Detail-oriented mindset for thorough documentation and compliance.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
- Alternative qualifications include an Associate’s degree as a PTA with licensure, or a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology/Allied Health, along with a minimum of two years in a Military healthcare setting.
- Relevant discipline-specific license or certification as required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED Certification.
- BOC certification or qualification to sit for the BOC exam is preferred.
