Key Responsibilities
- Execute thorough maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our fleet of government-contracted aircraft across the U.S.
- Oversee and manage adjustments, repairs, or replacements of any malfunctioning components and assemblies.
- Lead all “Aircraft on Ground” activities, utilizing various test equipment for troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and company quality standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Maintenance Control and other team members, providing consistent updates on aircraft status.
- Accurately log and report all hours worked and expenses incurred on a weekly basis.
- Support operations by assisting with fueling, retardant loading, and windshield cleaning during flying hours.
- Adapt to working outdoors and operating various types of equipment as required.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Valid FAA A&P License in good standing is essential.
- Familiarity with MD-80 series aircraft is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds (with assistance) and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record and a valid U.S. Passport.
- Capability to travel up to 65% of the time.
- High School Diploma or GED is required, along with necessary certifications.
- Additional experience in sheet metal and systems is a plus.
