Key Responsibilities
- Deliver essential medical and procedural consultations to residents of a skilled nursing facility, ensuring compliance with the highest standards and regulations.
- Advise the facility administrator on strategies to improve service delivery and develop innovative resident care programs.
- Act as a vital resource for the facility, offering ongoing guidance to ensure outstanding care quality for residents and patients.
- Maintain availability for emergency support 24⁄7.
- Participate in monthly QA and/or QAPI meetings.
- Assist in formulating clinical pathways to enhance resident care and support marketing initiatives as required.
- Medical degree and appropriate licensure to practice in Texas.
- Familiarity with skilled nursing facility care (preferred).
- Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- A deep commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
